Repairing Your iPod Know

We all know the iPhone and we all know the iPod. These two products are found in a large number of homes in the US. A recent short study has shown that when, even small problems occur, most people just place it carefully in a desk or a box somewhere. The search for an iPod repair center offering an iPod repair services usually leads to an Apple repair service. There is nothing wrong with taking your kit to such a place, except maybe for the fees. Most people avoid sending their iPods to an Apple iPod repair service because it can prove to be much more costly than other repair services. This is where independent iPod repair services come in. These independent iPod repair centers offer the same exact quality and level of professionalism that can be seen in an Apple repair center, but at a lower cost. Because some problems do not necessarily require a professional repair service, they can even be easily resolved at home on a desk.

Performing an iPod repair at home is very limited, but most people still try to perform complex repairs, this leading to even more problems and damage to their iPods. In fact a considerable number of all iPods reaching iPod repair centers get their because of unauthorized interventions and repairs, and this is why iPod users are strongly advised to use an iPod repair service even for small problems encountered with their products. The market for companies offering an iPod repair service is continuously growing, but many iPod users are completely unaware of their existence and see sending their iPods to an Apple iPod repair service as their only option. A simple search in the newspapers ads will reveal companies offering this type of services, but an even better source for finding professional iPod repair centers is the internet. This growing virtual environment presents all the needed resources as most such companies have decided to present their services online as well, in an effort to reach their potential customers at a larger scale.

Independent iPod repair service companies also offer the full range of iPod repair services at affordable costs. Many people have technical skills and feel very confident on their skills, but repair professionals strongly advise against performing home repairs as they can potentially lead to more damage for the iPod than before. The lack of proper instruments and tools are the most usual reasons for additional damage. An iPod that will never break down is probably very rare, but there is no reason why a simple operation such as changing a display should lead to more damage to the main board for example, and this is why you should always send your iPod in to an iPod repair service.

With the ever growing concern for our environment, people are looking for more and more ways to go green. More and more people are looking for products to use in their homes and their lives that will work for the purpose it is intended without hurting our soil, air, or water. There are many companies that claim to offer products that are environmentally friendly. Nature Line Solutions is one of these companies, so let's take a look at their products and see how they help the environment.

This company offers environmentally friendly products covering three major areas; household cleaning products, outdoor pollution, and personal health. Each of these areas offer different products to be used to help lower the levels of pollution. Let's take a look at these products.

Household cleaning

Nature Line' line up of household cleaning products includes an all purpose cleaning solution, glass cleaner, Laundry detergent, dish soap, and hand soap.

These products are made of materials from renewable sources, which means that none of these products will pose any dangers to endangered animals by taking away any plant or vegetation necessary to their survival. These products are also naturally derived from bio degradable ingredients, causing no harm to the soil, water, or air.

Their cleaning solution is a concentrated natural cleanser which can be used on walls, counter tops, and other surfaces and is perfectly safe for use around children and pets. The cleaning solution was developed in such a way that it can effectively remove pet, vegetable, and animal residue, leaving your home smelling and looking fresh and clean.

The glass cleaner cleans glass to a high shine and is completely natural containing no ammonia or other harmful chemicals. It dries to a streak free shine and can be used on ceramic tiles, the outside of small appliances, computer screens, and any surface that you would normally use a product of this kind.

Nature Line's laundry detergent works extremely well in warm and hot water, and is made up of natural brightening agents that will help keep your white's white and your your colors bright longer. This product contains no harmful additive that can harm the soil or the water supply like many other laundry cleaning products can.

The dish soap made by this company will clean the grease off your dishes and keep your glasses sparking clean while being gentle on your hands and without adding any pollutants into the water or soil. If there is any drawback to this product it is that it is made for hand washing only and not for use in dishwashers.

Nature Line's hand soap has a clean flagrance and is easy on the skin. There are no artificial perfumes that can harm the environment instead this soap relies on the pure clean natural scents found in essential oils.

While, this product might be easier found in the personal health section of their products, it is worth looking for as it has a wonderful clean scent and leaves you feel fresh and clean.

Products for the Out of Doors

Most of Nature line Solution's products for the out of doors is designed to help improve the way your car functions while reducing the harmful automobile emissions from the air. The diesel conditioner also protects and lubricates your diesel engine

Their tire safety product is a modern marvel. Using it actually, prevents punctures making replacing tires a less frequent necessity and providing safety while traveling.

Some of their other car related products include their octane booster and waterless car wash that allows you to clean your car sparkling clean without using a single drop of water.

Nature Line's two stroke products are designed to improve the efficiency of the motor on your weed whip, moped, motor scooter, snowmobiles and personal water craft while lessening the damaging impact these machines have on the environment.

Personal Health

Nature line Solutions personal health products include: Purifying cleanser, ageless serum, daytime moisturizer, night renewal cream, eye cream, clay mask, and lip plumper, as well as shampoo and conditioners.

All of these products are made of natural ingredients and are designed to help fight the signs of aging and leave you looking healthier and younger than you dreamed possible. There are no artificial perfumes that will harm the air, just all natural beautifying ingredients.

All of these products come with 100% money back guarantee if you are not satisfied with them for any reason.

As well as offering all these environmentally safe products, this company also is offering job opportunities to individuals who are looking for an independent source of revenue.

While no one product or one company can save the environment all on their own, Nature Line Solutions offer many wonderful products that the average person can use in their own lives and help to create a better cleaner world of tomorrow.

If you are concerned about the environment and are looking for ways to make a difference and do your share in improving the quality of air, soil, and water then looking into these products can and will help you to achieve your goal.

The money back guarantee proves this company believes in their product and is sure that you will believe in them too.

Why Should You Get Autoresponder Software?

If you think that getting started on an online work from home business is a simple task, you might be wrong or at least off by a little. You see, working and making a lot of money online can take come some time combined with a little learning and setup of your business operations. You not only have to be determined and work hard, but should also be aware of the short cuts that you can take to get more work done in less time. So how is that possible?

Autoresponder software is a big part of your answer here. In order to make serious money, you have to build a list of subscribers for yourself and automate other parts of your business. Otherwise success may be possible or at least as easy if you do not get what you can automated. That way, this will not require your supervision, and you could pay attention elsewhere to more important business issues.

So how can you get help here? Follow the lead:

• Many people who want to work online think that it is tough to get a good software or program unless and until they are part of a very interactive forum where people generally discus the latest technology that is available for making huge profits. That is not the case. All the info can often be provide to you in short articles like this alone.

• Join the forums in your niche and in online business and operations like webmaster forums and the Warrior Forum for Internet marketers as soon as you can. Here you can post whatever queries you may have, plus read all about what works and what doesn't, and even interact with many other forum members. If you want to know what popular autoresponder software services are; for example, just post this question and you will be surprised at the amazing number of responses you can get.

• In order to get the best deal, after you get the websites of all the services that have been offered to you, go check them all. See what their capabilities are, and try those with free trial periods, do some tire kicking, etc. Then make an informed decision.

• When you are working online, one of the biggest concerns of yours will be to get targeted traffic to your website. You may feel that the traffic you get is not enough, and therefore you may not be able to translate the traffic into enough sales. But with autoresponders, this concern of yours will fade away as you load automated, targeted call-to-action linked messages in to your autoresponder software.

• When you look at the different options regarding autoresponders, you will see that there are desktop hosted, remote hosted and locally hosted. A remote hosted autoresponder has a third party in their service and server. When it is locally hosted, you will be able to run it through your own website, and in case of desktop hosting, you will be able to work from your PC or laptop. The most common one here is the locally hosted autoresponder, which is much easier to work with because you leave to technology, upgrades, customer service, etc. to the hosting company for hands-off operations.

• But before making your purchase you should always consider each type of autoresponder to see which one could help you the most. Even though there is this huge range of autoresponders, not all of them will suit your needs and therefore make your decision after comparing the prices and the features that are available for starting up and for growth.

So what are you waiting for? There is no time to lose! You should go out there and rake in as much of dough as possible and a good autoresponder service will be your golden ticket!

Differences Between MACs and PCs

Over the last few years there has been quite a buzz about Google and how its search engine, rankings, paid ads, and a lot more other Google-y things are changing The World As We Know It. Fact is, Apple already changed the world, a quarter century ago, in the first Silicon Valley Miracle.
Now, that paragraph was just as breathless and hyperbolic as a lot of the technology reporting we get these days, but it has one advantage. It's true. When Apple debuted the Macintosh in 1984, in a now-legendary Super Bowl commercial, it was the first mouse-driven personal computer with a graphical user interface (GUI) among a sea of putty-colored, IBM-compatible boxes. The Mac started off "thinking different," with a one-piece design (unfortunately putty colored) incorporating a 9-inch grayscale monitor, and Apple positioned it as the "anti PC."

That was then, this is now In the beginning, the differences between Macs and PCs were on the inside as well as the outside. For starters, the Mac's CPU (Central Processing Unit, the "brain" chip) was sourced from the "68000 family" made by Motorola, whereas PCs typically ran on 80x86 Intel chips. This is why the first PCs were called "286," "386" and "486" machines, but the name changed to "Pentium" at the "586" fork in the road. The Macs progressed from 68000 to 68020, 68030 and 68040, until Apple adopted the IBM/Motorola PowerPC architecture to counter the Pentium.

Through the 1990s, the rivalry was hot and heavy on three distinct battlegrounds. There was the CPU battle, Intel vs. Motorola, and the operating system (OS) battle, DOS and the Windows vs. the Mac OS. Topping it off was the "design and build quality" battle. All of these were elements of advertising campaigns as well as sources of computer journalist jousting. Although some of the ad claims were erroneous, there was a great deal of truth to the differences, and some people even tried to "understand it all." One of these people was Guy Kawasaki.

The birth of product evangelists Guy Kawasaki was an early Apple employee tasked with marketing a new kind of technology. He saw more than a product, and correctly identified Apple users as a "movement" that represented a new way of thinking - The Macintosh Way, as the title of his book put it. Apple products (and the company logo, and the company vibe) were hip and relevant - rather than business-oriented, personal to the point of intimate and built like Swiss watches. The build quality has always been superior, as has the design, and few PC brands bother competing against Apple on these points.

The battles over the OS and the CPU ground on. Compared to their Pentium competitors, Macs with the early PowerPC chips struggled to hold their own. The OS battle was going Apple's way, and the introduction in 2000 of Mac OS X ("oh-ess-ten") signaled a new era. With the solid, if unremarkable, PowerPC G4 and G5 chips, the OS X Macs made a big splash, as did the introduction of the translucent, "Bondi Blue" new iMac. With the new iMac and the new OS, Apple and its Macs made a huge, nearly unprecedented splash at the beginning of the third millennium.

The Mac/Intel era The battle continued apace, until Apple changed the rules and the ratings once again in 2006 when Steve Jobs announced to a stunned conference hall that Apple would move all Macs to the Intel platform. By late 2008, all models had been purged of PowerPC chips (the Mac mini was the last holdout), and the latest Mac OS (10.6, Snow Leopard) does not even run on them. On the other hand, owners of modern Macintoshes can run all three major microcomputer OS flavors (Linux, Windows and the Mac OS) on their Intel-based computers.

Today, the three measures of Mac-PC competitiveness are stable, and still point to the Mac as the premier personal computer. The so-called "Mac premium" - the extra $100-200 Macs command over similarly capable PCs - is completely erased by the software bundle. PC makers ship their computers with various combinations of low-end office suites like Microsoft Works and other low- and no-cost programs, while Macs come with the extremely capable iLife suite. The Mac's free package of iPhoto, iWeb, Mail, Safari, Garageband and other applications and utilities is heads and shoulders above any PC bundle.

Buying decisions Windows PCs are enjoying a comeback with release of a very good Windows 7 OS, and there are premium Windows-based computers (with premium prices) from Sony, Alienware and other makers. The Mac, however, continues to hold a huge share of creative users like artists, graphic designers, musicians, audio engineers, videographers and film producers, and has made great inroads into labs, offices and accounting departments, too.

You can do great work on both PCs and Macs, of course, and your buying decision can be driven by any number of variables. Just consider what you really need to accomplish, do your homework before buying, get the best deal you can - and don't worry about any silly Mac vs. PC myths or legends, particularly those from 20 years ago about underpowered Macs or 10 years ago about virus-crippled PCs. If you want to be happy with your computer purchase these days, it's hard to go wrong with any of the big names, so hold out for a big sale.Panergy is a leading developer of software for the Mac since 1992. Panergy creates a multilingual docx converter software that allows users to gain access to documents created by applications they have not installed in order to improve their development and workflow for Print and Web Publishing.

"Flexing for the Web": What Is Flex and Why Should You Use It?

There appears to be a bit of confusion about Flex-what it is, why you should use it-that is not part of any other Adobe product's public profile. There has to be a reason this smart, on-the-spot company brought it to market and continues to update it. Yes, it has to do with being rich, but no, it's not about money, and this is not an anti-capitalist screed.
Say what you want about your pet economic theories, but even a slightly free market allows for thousands of times the innovation of a controlled one. In short, Adobe designed Flex because they sensed a need and filled it. Flash developers and Web gurus of all kinds needed a leg up in developing the next generation of Rich Internet Applications (RIAs), which can be built to the "okay" level right in Flash but needed more to be "insanely great," as some black turtleneck-wearing guy likes to say.

So what is it? At the most basic, a Flex application is a Flash .swf file that has been embedded in an HTML file. Flex outputs as .swf, which enables you to take advantage of all the features of the Flash Player-sound and video management, the drawing API, dynamic animations and more. The HTML that Flex generates has the JavaScript needed to determine if users have Flash Player installed or need to add or update it.

Flex didn't zoom right into the stratosphere like Flash, but it has gradually become more popular for its use of ActionScript 3.0. Fact is, developers created AS3 apps in Flex even before AS3 was officially released to Flash developers. Once Flash made it into Adobe's Creative Studio 3 (CS3), AS3 became a standard, and it's what made "Flexing your Web muscles" more exciting, and more innovative.

So how do you create a Flex app? Unlike other tools for video and animation (and even animated GIFs in the defunct ImageReady), the Flex workspace does not work with a Timeline. This is not a limiting factor, though, as Flex really is positioned for programmers rather than designers. Interestingly, it ends up "somewhere in the middle," as many other reviewers have noted, and the designer-slash-programmer job title is a more and more common one these days. When you start working with Flex, that's one of the first things you will notice.

Simply put, you "design" Flex apps by choosing pre-made graphic components like buttons, grids and boxes that you will recognize from Flash. These cookie-cutters are great, and so are the pre-made goodies, although some developer-designers will claim (correctly) that you can better control component size, if not functionality, by making your own. That said, they work dependably and are very customizable, so the real-world problems being imagined never really come up.

Arrangement and order The user interface is simple and easy to use, and you simply arrange components "on stage" how you want them. You will use the Containers to align your components however you want. A simple example is the VBox, a Container that takes everything inside it and puts them in a vertical alignment, very handy when you're setting up forms. Then you customize your look with styles and skins, set up your CSS formats and finish up the "design" to move on to "development."

With graphics in place and the app looking how you want it, you're ready to put AS3 to work handling events, creating classes or importing functions to make the Flex application a doer, not just another pretty face. Your app will respond to the user input as well as its own generated events-and connect to ColdFusion and other Flex Data/Communication Services. Remember when you're deciding about whether or not to use Flex that its partnership with ColdFusion is heaven sent, a real blessing.

Now you are ready to present the Flex app to the client, the company, your boss or the world-or all of the above. Of course, if you haven't used Flex yet, this article was not a tutorial, but a review (and an overview). Try it out yourself. Adobe makes it easy with a 30-day trial period, fully functional. If it's a tool you need, you will know it soon enough, and it won't take you long to learn it if you're motivated. Give it a shot!Moonrise Productions is a web design company specializing in custom web development and design. Whether you need web application development or a flex website, contact us and we'll get it done right.

Years ago around the end of January I would develop Chinophobia (fear of snow). Maybe it was because we had 3-5 feet of snow and I was ready for spring. Over the years I have developed temporary phobias for a number of good reasons.

A phobia is a handy way to get myself out of unpleasant situations. I developed Dentophobia (fear of the dentist) when my wisdom teeth decided to come in, but it was cured when the pain became so unbearable that I set out for the dentist office for some relief. Phobias also provide good excuses for why I do some of the silly things I seem to do, such as, when computers were first introduced to our school.

When computers were first introduced to our school I developed instant Cyberphobia (fear of computers or working on them). As the years passed I lost this phobia, but I noticed that there are many phobias associated with computers. In other words if you have any of the following phobias I would not be even near a computer.

Neophobia (fear of anything new)computers change daily, oops, hourly so you need to avoid them. Monophobia (fear of being alone)since working on a computer is not group work you should avoid a computer. Ballistophobia (fear of bullets)You can get near a computer and even work on one, but avoid that bullet button at all costs. Tropophobia (fear of making changes)dont even be in the vicinity of a computer because this is a continual procedure and if you dont change your computer system often you quickly revert to the caveman era of computer technology. Atychiphobia (fear of failure) better not chance using a computer because the power may fail, the lights may flicker and then your system fails and you have to start all over. Besides that, one misplaced finger can make you wonder, What happened now?

Ankylophobia (fear of joint immobility) try sitting at a computer all day and then get up, its close to impossible at my age so avoid the computer. Kaniophobia (fear of anything new or novel) with a computer its always changing and you may not be warned about those changes, so dont chance it. Allodoxaphobia (fear of opinions)you can get on the computer, but avoid chat rooms and articles, like this, at all costs. Castisophobia (fear of sitting)self explanatory, just avoid the computer. Tachophobia (fear of speed)avoid computers only if they have high speed internet and it was built last year, other wise, it is okay. Polyphobia (fear of many things)Everything connected to the computer is numbered in the many things category. Many functions, many buttons, many sights and especially many wires. Technophobia (fear of technology) Thats what computers are all about, technology, so avoid.

May you find your life free of any phobias and typing peacefully on your computer. Have a good life.

Board-by-Board Optimization

Board-by-Board Optimization
Just as each board type enjoys its own thermal profile in your surface mount oven, each board type also enjoys its own board-wave parameters in your wave machine

The optimal dwell time for that board was found to be 3.6 seconds, in contrast to 2.8 seconds for the first board. As you can see, the dwell time profiles of the two boards are different. This process resulted in dramatically lower defect rates for the second board studied (which had also been previously run at 1.0 seconds), although never quite as low as the new baseline which was attained for the first board. This strongly indicates the presence of sources of defects unrelated to dwell time, for example non-optimal immersion depth or design problems.

Immersion Depth

Changing your immersion depth changes your contact length and dwell time. This makes the direct and accurate measurement of immersion depth critical. Your pump speed produces a wave height (although this can diminish as your solder pot empties of solder), but the actual immersion depth of your boards depends on several factors, including solder pot height, how they sit in the fingers, if your fingers are bent, broken or crooked, the angle of your conveyor and whether or not pallets are used.

Yet controlling your immersion depth - measuring it and keeping it consistent - is only one piece of the puzzle. Another is: At which immersion depth is your board quality optimized? This point is illustrated by figure 4. See that the defect rate of the board represented by the blue bars is optimized over a different range (48 mil, or even 36 to 60 mil) than the board represented by the yellow bars (at 24 to 36 mil). So, different board types benefit most from different immersion depths.

Quantifying Cost Benefits

Prior to this study, yield loss was tracked on a monthly basis as a measure of the cost of production failures. Production volume for the board studied was 11,000 per month.

1.) With the implementation of optimal dwell time procedures using the described device, yield loss went from 3.0% (330 boards) to 1.6% (176 boards) in the first month of daily use.

2.) This meant a reduction in yield loss of 154 boards per month. For a 30 day month, this means 5.13 boards per day.

3.) At 300 for the cost of each board, cost reduction based on improved yield loss alone was 46,200 per month, which annualizes to 554,400.

4.) That means that the return on investment on the device used in the study was less than five days.

Conclusion: A seemingly small daily improvement in wave solder quality meant fast, very large, measurable monthly and annual cost savings. These figures do not even account for the valuable savings from benefits like reduced rework and field failures, less downtime and increased throughput, each of which in its own right can be more valuable than the rapid savings on yield loss.

SharePoint Web Site – Thou Shalt Not Steal a Car with Lojack

Well, if you answered yes to the first two questions, then you might have been helped by the company that happens to be the focus of this installment of “SharePoint Site Hi- light”. They have recovered over five billion dollars worth of stolen cars and equipment worldwide with two billion in the U.S. alone. Their recovery rate of stolen vehicles is over ninety percent, and their web site is hosted on and driven by SharePoint.
The site we are taking a look at today is Lojack, a world- wide provider of theft deterrent and recovery systems. As with the other sites in our series, we will look at overall design and usability as well as how the site might take advantage of SharePoint’s dynamic capabilities.
At first glance, Lojack’s site promises lots of easy to access information right from the start. The home page opens with six very visible links to each kind of situation they handle, and a two-minute movie talking about theft and how Lojack can protect you. Note that standard navigation links appear at the top of the page.
If you follow any one of the prominent links on the home page, you are taken to a page explaining how the company deals with that particular type of situation, be it protecting your vehicle or keeping your loved ones safe.
I followed the automotive link as if I need to protect my car from theft. I am presented with a short blurb on car theft and another on vehicle monitoring, and options to click a button to learn more. Upon following that link, we find that we are directed to the main page for their vehicle solution. The pages for this section make learning about their product and finding the solution you need relatively easy.
For the most part, Lojack’s SharePoint site behaves as expected, with a minor but irritating exception. The navigation at the top breaks two of my rules for usability. First, you cannot click on the actual main navigation; this is not what people expect, they want to click and go.
Which brings us to our second no-no. To get anywhere through the top navigation, you have to click a link in a drop down menu. As we have discussed before, all the information should be visible, it does not make sense to have potential customer hunting blindly through drop-downs to find what they are looking for.
The saving grace for this navigation mistake is the links on the home page that lead potential clients right where they want to go. After all is said and done, Lojack gets a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars. Not the very top of the heap, but definitely in the running for usability.

A Simple Way to Address Common Wireless Network Problems

There are a number of widely known techniques that make computing much easier. Sadly, some of these are not taught to novice users. For example: losing connection to a wireless router is a basic problem with a simple fix many users do not know about that will eliminate a vast majority of the problems that cause this symptom.
When you drop your connection to your wireless router, power cycling the modem and router will likely resolve the issue completely. A number of users do not know how to perform this simple task. It's a sad fact that just about any router and modem on the market will need an occasional power cycle. They run constantly and will at times run into conflicts that can be resolved with a simple restart.

If you try to resolve the problem by calling for support, you'll probably experience the following: aAfter wasting an hour on hold with the internet service provider, you will be lead through a series of unnecessary steps to rule out serious but not terribly common problems. Since so many of these issues can be quickly resolved by power cycling, it makes sense to learn this technique before calling up tech support.

To power cycle your modem and router, all you need to do it unplug both devices. That's it. If your modem has a battery, reset it after you've unplugged the wireless router. While each device is somewhat different, you should wait an average of two minutes before plugging back in both devices. If either unit feels unusually hot, you might want to wait until they cool down a bit before powering up.

Once enough time has passed, plug in your modem. Allow your modem to completely boot and conenct back up to the internet. After it is back online, plug in your wireless router. Once your router is also functional, attempt to connect your computers to the network.

It can sometimes be helpful to reboot your computers before connecting them to the router. This will allow them to connect using a fresh IP address. IP address conflicts are an all too frequent cause for network connectivity issues.

It is regretable that modems and routers aren't made with a technical mechanism that can solve this issue for inexperienced users. Since it is such a common and needed practice, it really should be clearly indicated to every user as an aspect of proper network maintenance. If internet service providers offered instructions on power cycling to each new customer, it would probably save a bundle on phone support costs. Countless hours of technical support service are wasted on a procedure that will be necessary for nearly every user. In fact, this is something that most people will have to do quite frequently.

As this issue requires changes in the states of both the modem and router, it is difficult to create the type of uniform process that would be needed for a purely technical solution. However, it is not a huge undertaking to enable even the casual user to solve this problem without further complications. Education is the only realistic answer. While it certianly isn't the biggest challenge facing humanity, there is a value in solving this communication issue. Routers and modems need frequent power cycling, and most people do not know how to do it.

Software Detection for Virus Adware Spyware - Virus Scan Program

Do you want to know where you can download a high quality Virus Scan Program? I am sure that when you first purchased and started using your computer, it was running very quickly and responded very quickly to your actions. Nothing would go wrong at this point and every process and command would be running very smoothly.

1. The Most Common Symptoms of Virus Adware Spyware Infection

However, after several weeks and months of usage, it will typically start to slow down and crawl with regards to its processing speed. With every day that passes by, it would seem like there are more and more error messages popping up every day. Some of them will also be annoying pop up advertisements. This is the stage where most people start to look for solutions, which is too late as they soon discover that their PC has been infected by virus and other malware.

2. Where and How Can You Find the Best Virus Scan Program Today?

The software that I downloaded carried out a quick initial scan which revealed many malicious files already existing in the registry and hard disks. Luckily, the program was capable of quarantining all the malicious software and dealing with them appropriately either by deleting or repairing them. Today, there are lots of different online security companies that program and distribute virus scan and removal programs, but from my own experience, it is not easy to find a high quality one that can handle spyware and virus effectively.

3. Software Detection for Virus Adware Spyware

Regardless of whether you feel that your computer system has been infected by spyware, adware and viruses, it is still advisable to get it scanned just in case. The potential hazards and losses can be huge if you choose to ignore a dangerous piece of malware that has infected the system.

The Approaching Bandwidth Wars

As internet service providers race to offer comsumers faster speeds, a new area of competition is underway. At first, there was a race to provide internet service at the fastest possible speed. Recently, however the speed race has outstriped the abilities of consumers' hardware. This has created a new variable for internet service providers. The bandwidth cap is rapidly becoming the new battlegrounds over which companies will compete.
There are cost limitations on the amount of bandwidth a consumer may use in a month. While users may sometimes feel that there is a global conspiracy preventing them from getting the bandwidth they want at a reasonable price, there are massive hardware costs involved in getting data to your computer at any reasonable speed. However, prices are generally determined by the amount a consumer is willing to spend on a product. As it stands, the costs offered by most internet service providers are satisfactory. However, one change in consumer behavior looms on the horizon. This inevitability threatens to annihilate the present comfortable foundation on which service providers build their business models. The normal consumer will in the near future want to watch high definition television content on their PC. This will spell the end of television as we know it.

While cable companies undoubtedly have an interest in forestalling the inevitable by limiting monthly bandwidth, they will be unable to force this price control on the market forever. Wireless internet is being made available nearly everywhere at lightning fast speeds. This will make it nearly impossible for this media transition to be prevented by any corporate interest.

This is wonderful news for the consumer. As companies start to advertise that you get more bandwidth for your money, these caps will go up rapidly. Companies that sell hardware to internet service providers will have to lower their prices as well. This is of course simply how the market works.

With all of the various ways to transfer data, there must be a huge focus on quality. For the consumer who likes to view high quality videos, this will mean a dramatic improvement on the current online experience. High quality content leads to higher bandwidth demands.

Bandwidth limits will also have an affect on the quality of content produced. For example, most current media files are compressed to meet bandwidth limitations. If it's possible to transfer more data at faster speeds, these limitations would disappear. This may result in new advancements in music recording software. Why not increase the size of music files if they can be transferred very quickly? It's the same for video files and any other content that people may attempt to share online. If a content provider can deliver bigger files, then movie files would be available in increased quality. Over time this will allow for serious growth in the quality of audio and video files.

Online games will participate in this expansion as well. As data transfer rates go through the roof, you can expect game developers to take full advantage of the extra bandwidth. Online games may never tie up as much bandwidth as streaming video or music, but it would be a mistake to ignore the demands of the online gaming market.

There is an exciting future for online content. While many may whine about the current bandwidth caps, the future holds an all out race between providers to deliver the best value for the money. In the end, this will be a win for the fans of high quality online content.

Mini Notebook Computer Features to Keep in Mind

Do you often find yourself out on the road, wishing you had a computer to take with you to do some web browsing or work from just about anywhere? If so, then you may want to start looking for a mini notebook computer.

Mini notebooks have really started booming over the past few years because of their very compact size and built-in wireless compatibility. They are also usually much more affordable than your average notebook computers, which was a big help in the boost to their popularity as well. However, besides size, what makes them different from your standard notebook or laptop computer? There are a few key differences to keep in mind before actually shopping for and especially purchasing these computers.

The first factor to keep in mind is that they tend to have far less hard drive space than other types of notebooks. A mini notebook computer will likely have anywhere from 10 to 60 gigabytes in hard drive space, which is very tiny by today's standards. For this reason, they are best combined with external hard drives or thumb drives if you intend to use your mini at home or need to store a lot of work on it. However, this is not the only thing to keep in mind when looking for a mini notebook.

These computers also tend to have weaker video cards and less RAM than larger notebook computers as well. This is due to their small and compact size, which is made so small due to smaller, and hence less powerful, components. However, if you do not intend to be playing any games on your mini notebook computer then this should not be a problem. Also because of that same small size, the monitor will also be understandably smaller. Many minis have monitors that range anywhere from 10 to 14 inches, which may be too small for you to see easily. So keep this in mind as well.

Most big computer manufacturers make mini notebooks these days, so if you have a brand preference then it should not be hard for you to locate a mini by that brand. Large manufacturers such as HP, Sony Vaio, Dell, and Toshiba all make mini notebook models. However, smaller manufacturers make them as well so you will be able to choose from a wide variety of companies.

Make sure you pay attention to the monitor size, video card, RAM, CPU, hard drive space, number of USB ports, and whether or not a mini notebook computer you are interested in has a CD/DVD drive. These factors vary greatly between mini models so it is especially important for you to pay close attention to these factors when looking for your own mini model.

Looking to get some computing done just about anywhere you are? Visit our site to find out whether a mini notebook computer is the right answer to your problem.

What to Do When A USB Device Driver Takes Too Long to Install

The universal serial bus is the'old new wave' of plug and play capabilities of Windows and other operating systems. Now, installing new pieces of hardware is very simple, all that you need to do the majority of the time is to plug in the device thru the USB port and wait until Windows detects it. If you are using Windows XP or Vista, you'll realise that Microsoft has made things even simpler by having a database of Driver Robot for common products from a long list of makers. So really, the entire process of installing something can take as little time as you plugging it in, Windows detecting it, finding the driver and installing it for you.

most of the time, there is no need for a restart, because the USB is based on the 'plug and play' interface, which means that usability of the product is literally instant. The range of products that now use the USB interface has now spread to across all manners of hardware and marginals, like the mouse, keyboards, printers, scanners, DVD drives, external hard drives etc, simply to cite a couple. The USB has additionally taken over the old IDE female/male port that your traditional printer would have used for information transference.

With the USB, data transfer can be virtually 4 to five times quicker than those old ports at the back of your computer. One of the commoner issues that folk do encounter when they try and install a USB device is that the installation will sometimes take too long, and they never know why. This is particularly true when they install tiny USB flash devices or devices from 3rd party makers that are none too familiar on the market.

One of the common issues of this is that there may be an issue with the driver itself, meaning that Windows or another operating system has trouble checking the binary files and is puzzled as to how to register the product. It will try a system of matching and elimination as it makes an attempt to register your new USB hardware. Another reason might be the driver itself is corrupt, meaning any and all system communication cannot be processed and therefore your product cannot be recognized by Windows.

you need to test for either an alternative, more updated driver, or see whether there's a copy you can download from the Net. Usually it is generally available in the tech support section of most manufacturers' websites and they will frequently either post the Driver Robot or post a FAQ, where you should be able to find which problem you are experiencing and either a tech or user counseled solutions for it.

USB driver devices are still a simple alternative choice to complicated data and installation for products and the plug and play viability of it remains number one. With USB 3.0 on the horizon, most issues should be resolved by that point, and you'll get a much faster data transfer rate and maybe even bigger functionality in the future.

My Laser Printer - The Basics

Color Laser Printer or just laser printers use a technology known as Xerography to produce either the black and white copies that we are accustomed to or reproductions of extremely high quality.

Let us first look at the differences between laser printers and inkjet printers.

In a nutshell shell, inkjet printers spray droplets of ink onto the media currently inserted into the printer or passing the print head (or visa versa), whereas laser printers transfer the ink or powder directly onto a drum which in turn, rotates, and places the impression directly onto the paper being fed into the machine.

The electrically charged drum, which is coated with selenium rotates, onto which, a laser beam projects the image to be printed, this laser beam using the process of Photoconductivity removes the charge from the areas exposed to its light, the charged areas which are left behind pick up (electrostatically) the dry ink or toner, and proceed to print it directly onto the surface of the paper being fed through the roller.

This technology brings with it some significant advantages over its competition, the Color Laser Printer's speed can vary depending on several factors such as the intensity of the graphics being processed, some of the best laser printer's or multifunction laser printers as they are called can achieve speeds of up to 200 hundred monochrome pages per minute that's an astounding 1200 pagers per hour, the very fastest and highest quality, the best color laser printers that can be purchased may produce a staggering 100 color pages per minute, that's amazing when you think that the technology (Xerography or electrophotography) was invented in 1938 by Chester Carlson.

If you wish to buy a laser printer and use it for color laser printing some of the cost factors which you may need to consider:

The costs of the paper and toner plus the cost associated with the replacement of the drum plus the other consumables that may be required e.g. the fuser and transfer assembly these hidden costs will not become apparent until replacement time.

Consider the volume of printing you may require, a multifunction color laser printer with all of its functionality may or may not be what is required by your office, a simple bubble jet may be ample for your needs.

Anti counterfeiting Steganographic ("secret") marks.

Color laser printing has come of age, with the threat of counterfeiting becoming a real issue as the quality of printing has improved, unscrupulous groups of people have found other uses for the laser photo printer, or the readily available laser printer copier that can be found in most corporate environments.

Most modern printers mark the printouts they produce with a series of almost invisible dots, these contain information such as date, time, serial number of the printer, all in binary coded decimal dots, this technology is said to have been then result of the U.S. Governments concern over counterfeiting, and a deal was struck between the printer manufactures and the government of the time to combat this threat, these measures enable a manufacturer to follow a single piece of paper back to its source, perhaps even to identify the original purchaser of the machine or consumables, some digital rights advocacy groups have become alarmed at this level of intrusion into the rights and freedoms of those that print and write, one such group is the Electronic Frontier Foundation

ComprintSales.com is a site built for the novice seeking some information on computer printing and the consumables that must be purchased for this purpose.

Photo Recovery Software for Nikon Coolpix S100pj Supporting Memory Cards

The compact digital camera Nikon Coolpix S100pj with features including a 12.10 megapixel CCD, a 5.00x zoom lens, a 2.7 inch LCD of 230,000 dot, 80-6400 ISO, a maximum aperture varying from f/3.9 to f/5.8, a built-in projector, has, besides its 36MB built-in memory, SDHC and SD cards for its storage media. As is the case with any other sort of external storage devices, data lost or deleted from SD cards are lost or deleted for good, because they when deleted do not go to the Trash or Recycle Bin to get recovered.

We usually use data backup program built-in on all computers and some recent digital camera models. However, if this ready-made facility cannot help, we have only to use certain memory card recovery software.

Suppose, if you have stumbled on your USB cable kicking the plug out from its port, or switched your camera off accidentally, or removed your card from the camera, or it has accidentally popped out from your camera while you are viewing photos on your camera or transferring them to your PC, it is certain that some logical damage has been caused to your card making it corrupt and unusable. Even if you try to access the card again and again, some error message like 'This memory card cannot be used', 'Card may be damaged', or 'Insert another card' repeatedly on your monitor.

The card unusable, you are at a loss. Only what you can do is rather to reformat the card to make it usable again, only to delete all your data on it right away. Then, have you lost your photos? No. You can recover your photos by running a data backup. But, make sure you do nothing to write any new data on the card, otherwise your photos will most probably get overwritten. Overwritten data can never be recovered.

If data backup program cannot serve the purpose, you need to use some powerful digital card recovery software. Card data recovery applications apply highly advanced methods to cater to complex memory card data recovery needs of the time.

Along this line, Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery v3.2 comprehensively recovers lost multimedia files of various formats from almost all storage media. Compatible with Windows and Apple Mac operating systems, this card data recovery application saves the recovered data in a user-specified location without modifying or overwriting the original files.

How Downloading the Latest Compaq Drivers Can Resolve Driver Issues

Compaq is a well-known computer brand that used to supply the largest number of personal computers in the world. The success of the growing computing industry suggests that many of our Compaq’s device drivers continue to increase. But this does not spare the device drivers from problems associated with incompatibility as a result of lack of driver updates. But before we move on to how we can resolve driver update issues, let us get an understanding of the particular roles of a device driver.

A computer driver makes sure that your operating system works hand in hand with the hardware that is plugged to your computer. The device driver converts the different codes of the hardware and the operating system such that each component can understand the commands of one another. To put it simply, your speakers can play songs and music whenever you want it to, your monitor can display the images and texts that you have inputted and your printer allows you to print out your work.

Now that you have seen the importance of device drivers working properly, can you imagine what would happen when the drivers become corrupted or is incompatible with the system? In certain situations, performing Windows updates might warrant a need to fix your driver issues. If you decided to leave it as it is, it might lead to problems such as damaging your driver or even a system crash.

Fortunately, as with technological advancements, updating your driver is no longer an arduous task. You can either choose to perform them manually or automatically. The thing to do right now is to review the different ways of performing the driver updates based on the above two methods and then decide foe yourself which is the best approach.

Manual updating involves searching the internet for the drivers that you might require, either from Compaq’s technical support pages, or from third party sites or collectives, usually run by computer enthusiasts and techies. Once you’ve located the driver updates, download them, and install them.

Then there is the easier, hassle-free method that not everyone is aware of.

The easiest way of updating your hardware is via a computer program called a driver scan that helps you to perform automatic updates. This computer program detects which of the hardware requires you to update and then it performs the necessary solutions on its own. Not only is there no need for you to dig out certain system information but it also takes up less effort and time than any other methods. There are quite a number of options for you to choose from out there, so all that is required on your part is a little patience and discretion of your choice of driver scan downloads.

As much as we find it a hassle to update our hardware, it is still a necessity to make sure that the hardware and the operating system continues to work harmoniously. Coupled with software advancements, we can simplify this process and reduce any unnecessary lost time.

4. What are the common mistakes of a website?

Lets face it! If visitors get lost or become confused while attempting to surf your website, they might hit the back button, and look for a more user- friendly website. People do not like to think, when it comes to finding their way around websites. Don’t make them tick. You need to plan your website from stage to stage, and make a difference between between a very poor website and a very good website.

Let us now see – what are the pitfalls inherent in designing and setting up a website? You may know some of them already, but by avoiding and correcting them, you can be sure to keep constant flow of visitors entering and re-entering into your portal! The list of most common errors is unending but invaluable for new designers, web developers and content writers – who need a list for their website spot check.

1.Site best viewed:

New designers usually use this “site best viewed” with a disclaimer statement regarding which web browser or screen resolution they designed their site, for best viewing. It does not impress the visitor. Instead, invest in skilfully designed website that renders well in multiple browsers, and in any screen resolution.

2.Shabby lay-out and glaring design:

Some sites are totally unbalanced in their lay-out and overloaded design. The designs do not match the page content and appears misplaced and misfit in the entire scene. Give your pages a pleasing appearance, with just the necessary facts and place your design out-lay with a professional touch. Always take screen shots of designs in different resolutions, before uploading the appropriate one.

3.Horizontal scrolling:

The horizontal scroll makes it extremely difficult to read the content on your site, and often your visitors will lose patience and leave. Check your website in a site resolution viewer. A professional website can be viewed without horizontal scrolling in, both, a smaller and larger screen resolution. User's find scrolling from the top to the bottom of your pages, more clear to view and easy to read.

4.Free Web Hosting:

This is a common web page mistake you definitely need to avoid. Often business owners claim that the business is "just starting”, and that is why they have not yet moved their site to a domain host. Do not use free web hosting if you want your business to be taken seriously. It reflects on your image and credibility.

To resolve this issue, you must choose and purchase a domain name if you, already, do not have one. You also need to choose a professional domain host. There is no getting around this one. If you want to run a successful online business, you absolutely must have a reliable domain host.

5.Appalling Images

Don’t allow your visitor view badly shaped or terribly cropped images and missing graphics files. Optimize your images, using the best height and width. Keep your files in the best formats - j peg for Photographs and gif for artwork.

6.Blaring and ghastly color schemes:

Avoid using ghastly and loud colors that does not match your website concept and mission. Although your text may be easy to read, overly-bright colors distracts and repels the reader away from your site's purpose. Your designs must reflect class and designer quality, with state-of-the-art designs and pleasantly eye-catching color schemes for your web pages.

7.Slow loading:

If your page does not download rapidly, visitors will quickly move on to find another site. Take action now to reduce the "weight" of your pages . Each image on your site must be correctly sized and optimized for web use. Keep your pages lean and fast for the visitor to move on quickly, with interest.

8.Spell check:

Always spell check the text , keeping it free of grammatical error, punctuations and spelling mistakes. Without spell check, the site looks amateurish and shabby.

9.Ineffective Text Content:

A major mistake is to fill the pages with long text, without any headings and sub-headings. Do not cram your web pages with loaded decorative words and hi-funda text. Readers do not have time to fill their heads with all details.

Make your text more effective. Keep your text simple, crisp and to-the-point. Use decorative words in the right context. Your language should spell clarity, consistency and coherence in content, style, structure and font. The pages should be easy to read and simple to understand, with a smooth flow. The fonts should be rightly used, with appropriate side-headings and the text need to be phrased in short paragraphs, giving a pleasing feel to the reader.

Your website must provide a clear message with a goal-oriented direction, setting you apart from your competitors. Your content should easily answer his question - “what's in it for me?” The reader must be able to identify with your write-up and find you as his 'partner' for addressing his solutions.

10. Absence of an Email Subscription Form:

This critical aspect is often neglected by most website owners. It is very important to have a lead generation for your website via Email subscription form, for optimal business returns. Having a mailing list gives you several advantages like maintaining a visitors list who allow you to contact them, build a relationship, and establish yourself as an expert for solving their problems.

11.Using a weak message 'join my newsletter':

Your content , design layout and solutions should be so user-friendly such that it compels the reader to subscribe your mailing list. Do not use a weak message like – “join my free newsletter”. The reader would wonder “Why?” and “If I subscribe, will you give me a bonus, or a free gift instantly, as soon as I join?” If your design and text work impresses the reader for availing your services, you would automatically get email subscriptions for a membership, from your visitors. It speaks on your credibility.

12.No Contact Information - Just giving your email id and the web address is not sufficient for your readers – who may be prospective clients. Keep your detailed contact information easy to find and easy to read. Inclusion of a site-map works wonders for your business.

13.Advertising – Advertisements provide huge revenue but it should be placed skilfully and with reference to the current times. Appropriate advertisements should be placed - reflecting the different verticals of your business. Do not overload your page with ads, especially the big flashy banners. Well placed, well designed ads are okay, if you don’t overload the page.

14. Prices –. Don’t waste your time, hoping you will get email inquiries on your prices. The moment a visitor sees your product or services, his prime question will be “what is the price of this item?” Do not keep the visitor guessing the price; it will give him an opportunity to jump into another website where the price is mentioned and you may end up losing a prospective customer. You need to include a price with the item description, if you sell something.

15.Under Construction - Avoid having a “closed – under construction” or “yet to open” website. Give your visitors atleast a single page of content, with a notice - when the whole site will be open.

16.Music: Include a soft and soothing music or that which is relevant to the content. Do not include music, if it is not needed. Music should not be out-of-control and keep the control buttons easy-to-use. Music can turn one's mind on but at the same time put your mood off, if it is not rightly timed, controlled and soft.

The list of common mistakes are innumerable. The above general tips gives you an idea of what to avoid and how to resolve. By keeping your website design in good shape and ensuring your web content writing is in good taste, you will find more people visiting and enjoying your website!

Top 25 Web Design Faux Pas

A list of "Web site mistakes" could go on forever, actually. When it comes right down to it, it's all "design" now, since we are talking about a (hopefully) cohesive unit, a well-crafted Web site. If it works well, you will do well. If not, you won't. That's simple, and keeping things simple really is the best kind of design.
Among these examples are tips for cosmetics, content and functionality. Even if you've already built your site, you can use this list as a means of "tweaking" and "refining" your approach.

Only if you have broken every conceivable rule of design and Web strategy would you need to dump your entire site and start from scratch. It is likely you could just start cleaning things up a bit, and work your way from 1 to 25 in no time?then find the list that takes you from 26 to 1,001, or perhaps a million. There are a lot of ways to commit faux pas in a virtual workplace!

1. Don't create a Home page that actually just launches the "real" Home page. The fewer steps it takes the user to get to your content, the better.
2. If visitors don't know what your site is all about in a few seconds, they'll probably leave (at the speed of a mouse click). A site must communicate why people should spend time there, and immediately.
3. Everyone's a speed-reader on the Internet. Use small text blocks, bullet points, lists, headers and subheaders?help readers "find and filter" your content.
4. Easy on the Flash: It increases the load time of the page, and gratuitous use annoys people. Use it sparingly, and for good reasons.
5. Everything counts, so no spelling or grammatical mistakes. If your language skills are poor, get help.
6. Do not use "wild ?n' crazy" or mismatched colors. Just "deliver a mood" (hopefully the right one) and allow users to focus on the content.
7. Do not use fancy fonts, five different type families or 4-point (that's tiny) type. Sure, browsers have zoom tools, but if you make people use it, say, "Bye bye!"
8. Can the canned music. Do not use "auto play" and if you think you must, make sure the volume control is front and center.
9. Do not fill your Web site full of logos, certifications and badges. If they matter to you, put them on the About page.
10. Always include your contact details. This information is left out of many sites.
11. Do not play "silly text tricks" with blinking or scrolling.
12. Minimize or eliminate the "drop down" menus. Navigation options should be easily spotted and out in the open.
13. Text navigation is faster and more reliable, so use it.
14. Use simple navigation schemes (you know, "less is more"). You need a single, unambiguous navigation structure.
15. Don't use FrontPage or other "beginner" or "point ?n' click" Web page "makers." They seem to offer easier Web design, but you'll get spotty code that may not be fully compatible with all browsers?and could have serious bugs.
16. Make sure your Web site works with all the most popular browsers.
17. Make sure to have anchor text on links to let visitors know where they're going. There are also SEO benefits.
18. Do not "cloak" your links and prevent the user from seeing where the link is pointed (on the browser status bar). You and your site will lose credibility.
19. Skip the pop ups, of any kind. Even user-requested ones can be a bad idea with all of the "pop blockers" in all of the popular browsers.
20. Warn people if you link to PDF files. Some browsers, like Safari, will handle them well, and within the browser, while others force Adobe Reader or another application to open.
21. Do not require registration unless you absolutely must. People are hesitant to give up their email addresses unless what you have is so superb that they will hassle with it.
22. Never subscribe visitors or correspondents without consent. If they don't ask for it, it's spam.
23. Do not force new browser windows to open, or move or resize them. Leave control with the users, where it belongs.
24. Do not link to questionable or blacklisted sites. Google is becoming quite strict about this.
25. Make sure visitors can search your entire website. People want to find the information they are looking for, so make it easy for them! Sure, there are plenty of others, and you may think you know some important ones that were left out of this list. You may just be right. Put that knowledge to good use and get your own sites up to snuff, and consider hiring out to help others do the same. There is a lot of clean-up work to be done to get today's Internet whipped into shape. If you know how to do that, it could be lifelong job security for you!Moonrise Productions is a full services San Francisco web development company. How Tiny is a Tiny USB?

The development on the pen drive industry is simply never ending. When pen drive was first developed, the storage capacity was only 8MB or so. Today, not only these data storage device comes in different storage capacities, but also in many designs, shapes and materials. Its revolution has come to a point where the industry leaders are coming out with the ideas based on the cool factor.

One good example is tiny USB and it is the result of the cool factor. Data storage device's key players in the industry have come out with the smallest pen drives you will ever find on earth.

This is the purpose of the article. You are going to discover what some of the smallest USB drives are and by the time you have finished reading this article, you will want to have one for yourself.

One of the digital data storage device developers, KingMax, has put up their effort in research and development together to build a pen drive that is as small as the size of a paper clip. If you know what a paper clip is, you would know how small it is. This tiny USB does not come with a casing that protects the inner parts. In fact, it is wrapped with a plastic that which packaging system is patented, in order to ensure the durability lasts even longer. Also, it is designed in a way where you can put the USB drive in your wallet easily, no matter where you go. If you wonder what the storage capacity would be, it can really go up to 8GB. One downside, though. If you own one, you will have to be extra careful because if they are not handled with care, you will lose it easily.

Kingston, another data storage device expert, introduced its DataTraveler Mini Slim USB flash drives to the world a while ago. This is slightly bigger than the one mentioned above and the unique point comes from its thickness, which is really as thick as a credit card. It measure is at 1.529- x 0.645- x 0.253-inches. This type of tiny USB comes in many different striking colors and you can choose one based on your preferences. Each of them can store up to either 2GB or 4GB of files. It is truly another great job done by Kingston, in terms of the cool factor.

The third tiny flash drive being introduced in this article is the Wallet Flash. Developed by Walletex Microelectronics, the thickness and size is similar to a credit card. Such design is meant to be inserted in a wallet, just like any other credit cards. The difference is that, it serves as a pen drive rather than just a credit card. Unlike many credit cards, The Wallet Flash is made of strong polymer that prevents users from bending the card. The coolest thing about this tiny USB is its ability to allow you to insert the USB port on either side. In other words, no matter which side you chuck your port into your computer, it will still work. The storage capacity comes in variety but the only being sold now is 128MB and they are coming out with the latest 2GB very soon. It is currently sold for USD$29 per unit.

If there is an award called the coolest USB drive award, these would be the winners of all. More than what is needed, the world is crazy about the cool factor on any products. Maybe it is time for you to explore more on them.
